It’s Coming Together.

After a month, all the pieces in the “ Alone in Monochrome” series are framed and ready. There is a surreal moment thinking back from the start of each piece to the end point of them becoming something that could (and ideally will) outlast myself. When making the photos, I tend to focus on the moment. When picking what moments to print, I tend to focus on the crafting of my vision. When I sent these to get framed I trusted the professionals at Bellingham Frameworks do their part and they did a great job. Its only when all that is done, I get to reflect on the moment again, and the piece in totality. Getting to view the piece in person, as a physical object, is definitely the optimal way of viewing.

The next step that is in the works is to get the series to a place where you and anyone really can experience that as well. Be sure to follow me on social media and check back here for updates on this and all the other projects I have in the works.

till next time…
