Sometimes it’s Not that far away…

I like to go places, often very far from where I live and i enjoy exploring those places. These photos are from places that are much closer to where I live, which stands to reason are from a far exotic place, for someone. One of my stated goals is to share what I come across in my travels, even the close by ones. There is a whole world within 2 hours of where I stay, and for really most people, is a world away.

One of the more difficult aspects is treating the familiar like a PLACE , using this as a subtle reminder (mainly for me, but you can use it too) to more often approach what you see everyday in a different way, maybe by going a little further than you normally would down a road or getting close enough to stop and smell the flowers.
