2025 Was a Year…

As 2025 comes to a close, it still feels as if “THE YEAR 2025” is some distant place in the future, when in reality at the time of writing we have lived through it. This photo from the World Expo in Osaka, Japan represents for me my year. it was made while waiting in line in the late summer heat, it what was a parking lot. I saw at least 3 people need medical assistance, given the heat and size of the lines I’m surprised it wasn’t more. Despite the crowds and the heat, getting into the Expo was a once in a lifetime experience which I had not intended on having when I planned my trip to Japan, it was a “well since I’m here anyway” moment.

How this relates to my year is despite the struggles of life, I was able to have some truly unique experiences, which as part of my purpose as a photographer is to share with everyone. In 2026 expect much more of that, and new opportunities for unique experiences, whether from the other side of the globe or the street.

I also thank you if you are still here it means alot and

till next time…
