For a lot of people, and for a long time myself, travel can seem like something unattainable.Thinking they have the time, don’t have the money, and are not even sure where to go can feel insurmountable. I will tell you that I am not special, but when the places I have been comes up in conversation, there is the inevitable “You are so lucky to get to do that..” I may be lucky, but getting to do that is achievable for a lot more people than give themselves credit. 
This was taken standing in the terminal in SJC, heading back after a brief trip to see some family, relatively late planned. From SEA to SJC is only around a 2 1/2hr flight, and due to the traffic on I5, the drive from Bellingham to SeaTac took longer than the flight. It was not a long trip, it was overseas, but it was a new place. Something you can make happen or at least something similar. I would recommend, as most people would, avoid driving I5 if at all possible
